Description

The City of Delta is seeking proposals from qualified consulting firms to develop a comprehensive Parks, Recreation and Culture Master Plan to ensure that residents have access to a variety of vibrant, inclusive, and accessible recreation, cultural, and educational opportunities as the community grows and evolves over the next 25 years.

The plan should create a strategic roadmap for ensuring equitable access, proximity and connectivity to high-quality parks, trails, green space, and recreation and culture facilities, programs, and services throughout the community now and into the future. The City is seeking a system-wide approach that includes developing a clear vision, goals, and strategic priorities for the Parks, Recreation and Culture Department.

The master plan that will be created from this work will be a guiding document for the operation, development, and renewal of the community’s system of parks and green space, recreation and culture facilities, services, and programs over the next 25 years.
