Pauktuutit is seeking to map out current and accurate costs of living for Inuit women and gender diverse Inuit, develop a case for drawing funds for comprehensive basic income, and propose a social benefits costing and feasibility analysis. As part of this work, we would also hope to measure the potential wellness enhancing and cost savings benefits across sectors to make a sensible case for basic income, from not only a human rights perspective but an economic perspective as well.
