Description

INVITATION TO SUBMIT AN EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI) AS TO THE AVAILABILITY OF SPACE FOR LEASE IN THE TOWN OF VIRDEN, MANITOBA

Manitoba Department of Public Service Delivery, Real Estate and Contract Services Branch is asking interested parties to provide information for a potential lease of space based on the following criteria:
SECTION A – PROJECT REQUIREMENTS
PROJECT #4841 RECS-EOI
Lease and Space Components
Preferred Lease to commence on or before August 01, 2025, but not mandatory.

The proposed space must satisfy or be capable of satisfying the following criteria:

Approximately 2,300 – 3,000 usable square feet of contiguous office space.
Access to six to ten (6-10) reserved staff parking stalls (including one (1) barrier free parking stall), within a 5-minute walking distance. In addition, parking for clients is desired.
The accommodations must be located on, or near a major traffic artery within Virden, Manitoba and have convenient access for the public.
The space offered must be accessible. The space should comply (or will be made to comply) with the requirements of The Accessibility for Manitobans Act.
The proposed space must be located within the boundaries of the geographic area in Virden as shown on the map, bordered in red, attached to this EOI and labelled as Project #4841 RECS-EOI Boundary Map as on Schedule- “A” attached hereto.

SECTION B - RESPONSE
Interested parties are requested to submit their response to this EOI in writing by no later than 2:00PM, Central Time on April 4, 2025, to the following address:

Responses received after the above noted deadline will not be considered.

SECTION C: INFORMATION PROVIDED BY INTERESTED PARTIES
Information provided by interested parties or agents of interested parties should include:

The project number.
The location and municipal address of the proposed space.
The current zoning of the building that houses the proposed space.
The specific location of space within the building.
The measured area of the proposed space.
A floor plan identifying the proposed space with washrooms, exits and other design elements.
A site plan showing the building and parking facilities.
Date the space is available for lease.
Length of term the space is available for lease.

Do not submit a price as this is not a proposal call.
SECTION D: LIST OF AVAILABLE SPACE

This EOI is issued to invite interested parties to demonstrate their interest in providing the requirements described herein. This information may be included in a list of available space and used for potential future solicitations.
SECTION E: NOT A SOLICITATION PROCESS
Note that this is not a tender process, nor a request for proposal, but only an inquiry as to the availability of space to lease. Real Estate and Contract Services will not necessarily invite offers, or lease any space, and may not post any future ads related to this request. The information provided through this EOI may be included in a source list of available space and Real Estate and Contract Services may issue an invitation to tender for other testing requirements based on this information or based on any other information which may come to its attention prior to an issuance of an invitation to tender; or it may invite offers by way of public tender.
