Description

Halifax Water has an ongoing program to carry out retrofits on key control chambers in the distribution system that have been designated as Confined Spaces. The retrofit includes the conversion of a ladder entry to a stair way entry to address the issues of Confined Space Entry (CSE). Upgrades will also be done simultaneously with operations and tech services for the replacement of the meter and control valve as well as reconfiguration of the pipe system within the chamber.
