AMENDMENT #1
Q. Including at least 2 x PM2, 1 x PM3, 1 x PM4, 4 x Primary Filters, 2 x Secondary & Cab Filters plus fluids and extra filters and delivery. Details on this line, what exactly are we supposed to include, pm2 pm3 pm4?what is pm2 pm3 pm4 mean and is labour for service included in price also?
A. 'PM2, PM3, and PM4' refer to Preventive Maintenance kits or scheduled service intervals. What we want to clarify here is what would you provide as maintenance kits or parts required for specific intervals (e.g., 500 hours, 1,000 hours, or 2,000-hour service milestones). Typically, these terms often include filters, fluids, and other consumables specific to the maintenance schedule. If you choose you can include the labour for that service/maintenance in the proposal. It will be evaluated
accordingly. If not included in your proposal, the cost of such service should be explained.
Q. Do you guys want extended warranty included in price?
A. Should extended warranty features include ongoing manufacturer recommended maintenance, these options and details could be included in the proposal and would be evaluated as part of the overall proposition and weighted accordingly. For the extended warranty, please indicate if this should be included in the total price or proposed as an optional add-on.
Q. What exactly is 1 cohort cobranding offers on equipment and mobile unit; is there a dollar amount we must contribute?
A. Vendors are encouraged to indicate whether you are interested in pursuing a cobranding opportunity and to include detailed proposals with your submission. Proposals should outline the specific contributions, scope, and terms for consideration.
Cobranding Expectations and Opportunities.
We recognize the potential value of cobranding and are open to opportunities that align with our branding strategy. Vendors should consider the following points regarding cobranding on the equipment and the mobile training unit:
1. General Branding Guidelines:
- Unless a formal cobranding agreement is in place, vendors are not permitted to apply logos, identifiable branding, or any information to the purchased equipment, beyond the standard branding of the equipment manufacturer.
- CCNB reserves the right to apply its own branding (logo and information) to the purchased equipment and mobile training unit.
2. Cobranding Opportunities:
- Vendors interested in cobranding are invited to include a proposal in their submission, specifying:
# The financial contribution they are willing to provide to support cobranding efforts.
# Whether this contribution applies to a single piece of equipment, a bundle of four pieces of equipment, or extends to the mobile training unit.
# The scope of the cobranding (e.g., logo placement, size, and visibility).
3. Evaluation of Cobranding Proposals:
- Cobranding proposals will be evaluated as part of the overall submission, with consideration given to:
# The financial contribution offered by the vendor.
# Alignment with CCNB's branding and organizational values.
# The extent and appropriateness of the proposed cobranding effort.
4. Final Agreement and Approval:
- Any cobranding agreement will be subject to a written and signed approval by CCNB.
- The approved cobranding must meet CCNB's branding standards and cannot interfere with the primary purpose or functionality of the equipment or mobile unit.
