In general, the scope of work is to rehabilitate the corrugated steel service tunnels within University Waterloo Place (UWP) by excavating, encasing the tunnels in reinforced concrete, waterproofing, backfilling and restoring all surfaces at grade.
General Contractors are invited to bid provided they demonstrate that they are currently on a Vendor of Record list for any Public Education Institution or Publicly Funded Organization, including Municipalities, for projects up to $5.0M in construction value (excl HST). General contractors shall provide a completed CCDC 11 –2016 form listing a minimum of three projects with similar complexity and scope. Bidders shall provide a WSIB CAD 7 certificate indicating injury statistics for the last 5 years. References and Health and Safety Program details will be requested from the shortlisted bidders.
