D3.1 The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of five parts:

D3.2 Part 1 – City Funded Work shall consist of:
(a) Pavement Rehabilitation
(i) Beaverbrook Street – Taylor Avenue to Grant Avenue
(ii) Brooklyn Street – Portage Avenue to Silver Avenue
(iii) Lanark Street – Taylor Avenue to Mathers Avenue
(iv) Lanark Street Bay – #789 to #817
(v) Lanark Street Bay – #821 to #851
(vi) Marjorie Street – Portage Avenue to Ness Avenue
(b) Asphalt Reconstruction
(i) Oxford Street and Cambridge Street Alley – Fleet Avenue to Corydon Avenue
(ii) Garwood Avenue and Dudley Avenue Alley – Guelph Street to Harrow Street
(iii) Grosvenor Avenue and Dorchester Avenue Alley – Guelph Street to Harrow Street
(c) Sidewalk Renewal
(i) Academy Road North Side from Elm Street to #239 Academy Road
(ii) Academy Road South Side from Guelph Street to Harrow Street
(d) Bike Lanes
(i) Wellington Crescent from Academy Road to Stradbrook Avenue
Part 2 – Water and Waste Work
D3.3 Part 2 – Water and Waste Work shall consist of:
(a) Manhole Repairs
(i) Beaverbrook Street
(ii) Brooklyn Street
(iii) Lanark Street
D3.4 The major components of the Work are as follows:
(a) Pavement Rehabilitation (Beaverbrook Street, Brooklyn Street, Lanark Street, Lanark Street
Bays, Marjorie Street)
(i) Complete required sewer and manhole repairs
(ii) Installation of new catch basins/catchpits and sewer service/drainage connection pipe
(iii) Renewal of miscellaneous pavement slabs (150 mm reinforced concrete pavement)
(iv) Renewal of existing barrier curb
(v) Renewal of existing sidewalks c/w detectable warning tiles as required
(vi) Adjustment of catch basin and manhole frames
(vii) Installation of pavement repair fabric at various locations
(viii) Construction of new asphalt overlay
(ix) Adjustment of paving stones or patio blocks
(x) Boulevard restoration
(b) Asphalt Reconstruction (Oxford Street and Cambridge Street Alley, Garwood Avenue and Dudley
Avenue Alley, Grosvenor Avenue and Dorchester Avenue Alley)
(i) Installation of new catch basins and sewer service pipe
(ii) Removal of existing asphalt/concrete pavement
(iii) Placing new separation/filtration geotextile fabric and geogrid
(iv) Insulating watermains
(v) Placing new sub-base and base course granular layers
(vi) Renewal of existing 150mm reinforced concrete driveways
(vii) Construction of 200mm reinforced concrete approaches
(viii) Construction of new asphalt pavement
(ix) Renewal of existing sidewalks
(x) Adjustment of paving stones or patio blocks
(xi) Boulevard restoration
(c) Sidewalk Renewal (Academy Road)
(i) Installation of new catch basins/catchpits and sewer service/drainage connection pipe

(iii) Construction of monolithic curb and sidewalk c/w paving bands
(iv) Renewal of miscellaneous pavement slabs (200mm reinforced concrete pavement)
(v) Adjustment of catch basins and manholes
(vi) Boulevard restoration
(d) Bike Lanes (Wellington Crescent)
(i) Pickup and installation of precast adjustable bike lane units
(ii) Pickup and installation of precast adjustable bike lane curbs with drainage channel
(iii) Pickup and installation of precast adjustable bike lane curb end units
(iv) Pickup and installation of traffic calming curbs
(v) Pickup and installation of reflectorized concrete barriers
(vi) Pickup and installation of polyposts (permanent and semi-permanent)
(vii) Supply and installation of line painting
(e) Water and Waste Work (Beaverbrook Street, Brooklyn Street, and Lanark Street)
(i) Grouting cracks on manhole walls
(ii) Repair of concrete benching in manholes
(iii) Inspection of manholes
